Math-o-ween Committees

When we do applied learning projects, we break up into committees. Each committee has a job. We had the Brochure Committee, the Poster Committee, the Schedule Committee, the Decoration Committee, the Directions Committee, the Announcements Committee, and the Sticker Committee. Every person is responsible for helping get the job done. Teamwork!

Marathon Kids 2014

We kicked off our Marathon Kids program by running a lap around the playground. The kids will need to run 26 miles in six months to complete the challenge.

Homecoming 2014

We made masks for our 2014 Homecoming. Our families had a chance to visit, eat, and play.

Field Trip to Casa Manana

We saw Snow White and the Prince at Casa Manana. It was a great play!

Fling a Thing - Sponsored by Real School Gardens

Real School Gardens sponsored a Fling a Thing at our school. Students ate a healthy snack and then flung their scraps onto a tarp that was later added to our compost pile. Our principal and the mayor also got to fling some stuff.

Our First Field Trip to the Masonic Hall

We learned about Fort Worth History at the Masonic Hall.
